Scene Time is a paramedic-level study tool for paramedic students, paramedics, and anyone preparing for the National Registry paramedic exam. It is not medical advice and is not a treatment protocol.
EMT and AEMT students are welcome to learn from it, but many medications and procedures here are outside their scope of practice. Always stay within your certification and local protocols.
Aaron Guembes, Paramedic
Scene Time was built by Aaron Guembes, a working paramedic with more than 15 years in EMS, including over a decade on a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU), where the critical calls are. Those years taught him how to stay steady and think clearly when a patient is crashing.
This app is built to hand that experience forward. It gives students and new providers the reps that build calm under pressure: see the patient, make the call, then learn why.
The mindset behind it: every hard call and every setback is a challenge to come back better. That applies to the people using this app, and to the app itself, which keeps improving.
The standard: teach only what the published evidence supports. Every dose shows its source, and anything without a national standard is marked for your local protocol.
